Job Description

Our client is a high-growth, International Fintech startup (150+ employees) backed by leading, well-known investors. It uses AI technology to provide analytical solutions to Financial Services firms including asset managers, wealth managers and insurance firms.

Supported by senior management and an existing commercial team in the region, the Senior Salesperson will be responsible for developing new business with buy-side firms in North America.

The company and its employees have a shared passion for a highly specialized proposition that it brings to the portfolios of its clients.

Key Information

  • Individual contributor (IC) role.
  • Responsible for a new business sales target.
  • Will be supported by inside sales, presales and account managers.
  • Regional focus is North America.
  • Location is New York, NY, USA or remote within USA (East-Coast preferred).
  • Reports to a Head of Sales.
  • Remuneration includes base salary, commission, share options and benefits.

Key Requirements

In addition to the skills that make you an excellent salesperson, for example, strong communication, presentation, sales and relationship-building skills. Our client requires:

  • Extensive new business sales experience (i.e. a ‘hunter’).
  • Strong track-record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience within banking/financial services and/or Fintech.
  • Strong network in investment managers in North America.
  • Ideally, an understanding of investment management technologies, e.g. data, pricing/analytics, portfolio management, risk management, etc.
  • Fluent English language skills.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the country in which the role is based.
